How We Install Porcelain & Natural Stone Patios
Here’s how we build a long-lasting patio from the ground up — no shortcuts, no sinking slabs and no wobbly joints.
1️⃣ Free Site Survey & Quote
We measure your driveway, assess drainage and help you choose colours and block edging for the perfect finish.
4️⃣ Precision Laying of Slabs
Tiles or stones are carefully placed, spaced and levelled for a flawless finish, with a full surface coating of slurry.
2️⃣ Ground Excavation & Sub-Base
We remove the existing surface and install a compacted MOT Type 1 clean stone sub-base for long-term stability.
5️⃣ Jointing & Sealing
Professional grout keeps joints stable. Optional sealing protects against stains and algae.
3️⃣Correct Bedding Layer
We lay sandstone and porcelain on a strong concrete mix.
For smaller areas, porcelain can be installed on concrete pads — but for large patios we stick to full beds to keep levels perfect.
6️⃣ Final Clean & Sign-off
We rinse, tidy and walk you through the finish before leaving you to enjoy your new patio.
