We measure your driveway, assess drainage levels and run through design choices including block styles, colours and patterns — with a no-obligation quote.
4️⃣ Block Paving Laid by Hand
Blocks are laid carefully in your chosen pattern — herringbone, stretcher bond, basketweave or a bespoke layout — with attention to every line and curve.
2️⃣ Excavation + MOT Type 1 Sub-Base
We remove the old surface, dig down to the correct depth and install a compacted MOT Type 1 stone base for long-term stability and load bearing.
5️⃣ Edging, Joint Sand & Final Compaction
Strong edging is installed to hold the driveway in place, kiln-dried sand is brushed into the joints, and the surface is compacted to lock the blocks in tight.
3️⃣ 6mm Limestone Screed Layer
Instead of traditional sharp sand, we use permeable 6mm limestone which doesn’t retain water — preventing soft spots, frost movement, sinking and future dips.
6️⃣ Clean-Up, Site Finishing & Final Sign-Off
We tidy up the entire working area, check every block and edge for quality, and walk you through the finished driveway to make sure you’re 100% happy.
